“We will prove that there is no problem too large for government to solve, and no concern too small for it to care about.”

-NYC Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani

The status quo isn’t working. Housing costs too much, students have no control, and the city isn’t listening.

In Ward 8, the status quo is clear: decent housing is hard to find, rent keeps climbing, downtown doesn’t always feel COMFORTABLE, and decisions about your neighborhood are made without students or renters at the table. The way things work right now wasn’t built around your experience.

I’m running for City Council to change that. Our ward needs representation that puts students and renters at the center, says plainly when something isn’t working, and pushes for real change instead of accepting the same problems year after year.

Getting stuff done shouldn’t be so hard.

The key to passing an ordinance or resolution isn’t about being in the right place and the right time with the right words. It’s about working your way through a system designed to slow things down.

We can do better, without sacrificing thoughtfulness.

Ordinance / Resolution Speedrun

City government isn’t about good ideas — it’s about getting through the process.

You’re trying to pass a generic ordinance or resolution through a typical City Council process. The choices are designed to be tempting on purpose: some create quick headlines, others build the votes and follow-through needed for real implementation.

There is already PAC spending in the Ward 8 city council race.

I don’t believe good leadership starts with money from political action committees. I chose not to run my campaign that way because PAC money comes with influence that most people never see, and it pulls decision-making away from the community. If you agree with me, and stand against PAC spending in this race, add your name to our No PAC Money coalition ⬇️

Good politicians don’t need PAC ( 👎🏼 ) money.
